TITLE: Outpatient Occupational Therapist

If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Here is the details:
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and treatment for patients referred to the service.
Provides group and/or individual treatment to patients with a variety of diagnoses and presenting symptoms.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Current Ohio OT licensed and certification by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapist.
Will consider strong new grads.
Position is for 32 hours/week and is considered full time and eligible for all benefits.
Monday - Friday day shift with at least one later start time (10:30a - 7p), No major holidays worked; no on-call requirements.
Will work between a couple of locations and there is an opportunity to cross train to the inpatient side.
Population will be Adult to Geriatric with a little Pediatrics
Facility has state of the art equipment.
Daily average of 6-8 patients; can see 1-2 new evals/day. Population will be adult to pediatric.
One hour allotted for all new evals; minimum of 1.5 hours blocked on the OT`s schedule per day for documentation purposes; if OT`s evals go up to 4/day, extra documentation time is blocked
Will join team of 3 OTs and 4 COTAs.
Position reports to Outpatient Rehab Manager.
The pay depends on experience but the range is 28.94hr-38.90hr. Generous CEU allowance with multiple onsite CEU opportunities provided along with a great benefit package and relocation.
