Occupational Therap****of Employment - Successful candidate will support Pediatric Patients at the Behavioral Health Unit and Outpatient Pediatric Clinic OR will support patients on our Acute Rehabilitation Unit.Position Type: Full TimeWork Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days offJob Type: Hourly - Non Exempt (eligible for overtime compensation)
*This position is responsible for pre-admission, admission, and on going assessment related to patient condition, history, physician referral, and/or plan of care. *Responsibilities include direct occupational therapy intervention, based on the interdisciplinary treatment plan and established priorities, for performance issues related to, or impacted by injury, illness, or developmental difficulty, and including, but not limited to:
Fine motor delays/disorders, sensory integrative disorder, neuro- developmental disorder, visual-motor/perceptual disorders, activities of daily living, motor planning / coordination disorders, developmental delay/disorders, range of motion/joint mobility, traumatic brain injury/cognitive disorders, functional independence tasks, feeding/oral-motor disorders, lymphedema, integration of central and peripheral nervous systems; cardiopulmonary endurance and function, assists in selection and fitting of wheelchairs and other DME, planning successful and effective co-treatments with ST/PT, developing home programs, and completing family training.','!*!*Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program. *Must have a current Idaho State license. *Must maintain the standards of the professional and ethical practice in the provision of the full scope of Occupational Therapy services. *Must have and maintain a current AHA CPR for Healthcare Professionals certification. *Has frequent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other departments, patients and their families. Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Must pass the Department of Health & Welfare background.
This position requires that you drive a facility owned vehicle or your own vehicle. A current state of Idaho driver’s license is required. If relocating to Idaho from another state, you must obtain a current Idaho driver’s license within 90 days of making Idaho your permanent state of residence. If you are not a permanent resident of Idaho you must have a valid driver’s license from the state in which you permanently reside. In addition, if you will be driving your own vehicle 2 or more times per week for company related business, documentation of proof of liability insurance must be provided. Liability insurance must have a combined single limit of at least $300,000 or have $100,000/$300,000 coverage split. This position is subject, upon hire and annually, to an MVR report/analysis and driver safety education.','Occupational Therapist
