As an Occupational Therapist, you will make providing service your priority while caring for the whole person in a faith based atmosphere. Occupational Therapists are a vital part of an interdisciplinary rehab team and interact and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. Responsibilities include evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction. Occupational Therapists are accountable for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients. They ensure the design of functional treatment programs, allowing for effective return to community activities and serve as an educator of patients, families, and coworkers. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Patrick Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy required. Master's degree preferred.
Current Louisiana OT License, or license eligible
Exceptional documentation, written and verbal communication skills
CPI and FIM certification preferred
